Description of Comic

I made a comic strip that consists of just three frames that I arranged in a horizontal pattern. The space in between each frame is indicating the time elapsed between each picture. In the first frame, the monster was placed in a beach setting and had a sad look on his face. I think that it is easy to see that he is not happy. The words that he says explain why he isn’t happy; he doesn’t like to be at the beach because there isn’t anything fun to do. In between the first and second frames, somebody sees the monster, and throws a bucket to him. By the time the reader sees the next frame, the monster has changed his expression to a surprised face that has a little bit of hope. Maybe he can have fun at the beach. In between the second and third frame, the monster spends time building his sand castle. This space represents a larger amount of time than in between the first two. By the time the reader sees the final frame, the monster has built a sand castle and his expression has gone from sad, to surprised, all the way to extremely happy. The comic starts off with a problem, there is a solution, and then the end is happy.

Comic Stip Description

In this comic strip, there are two characters engaging in conversation. The style of the drawings is very simple. I just realized now that all of the frames are showing the characters in a profile view only. In the first frame, The girl asks the boy about high school boys, and he kind of has a blank look on his face. In the second frame, it is a closer view of the girl who now has a curious and confused look on her face. In the third frame both of the characters kind of have blank looks on their faces. In the fourth and last frame, the girl seems a little disappointed at the boy’s answer. The boy looks quite pleased with himself and describes himself as “super hunky”.
